The TECHNITON SATURN 500 (or just SATURN 500) is a home video game console developed and produced by the Besmenian company TECHNITON GmbH. The console was the successor of the TECHNITON SATURN. The SATURN 500 was released on October 29, 1982 in Besmenia, and in February 1983 worldwide in most regions.
Unlike its predecessor, the SATURN 500 was a commercial failure. After production ended in May 1987, TECHNITON announced that it would withdraw from the game console business.
