Durova is a Syaran city located in the Realm of Galania. Durova is situated where the west and east Malonrama rivers meet, and has a population of over 725,000. Durova was initially established sometime around the turn of the 1st Millennia BCE owing to its valuable location amid two freshwater rivers and grew into a prosperous settlement, however it's location also made it a significant target for raids and bandits, resulting in the city being rebuilt several times over the course of its history. Durova served as a major farming and textiles center during the Makedonian Empire, and grew significantly following the establishment of the Rioni Union. Durova continued to thrive under the Republic of Syara, but its significance resulted in heavy fighting during the Refusal War that damaged much of the city. Reconstruction lasted until the early 2000s, and today Durova remains a commercial and agricultural hub for Galania.
