Football is a popular sport in Radictistan. The Radictistani Football Association is the sport's national governing body. There is a league system with six levels of competition culminating in the Prima League whose top-ranked team is the national champion alongside the winner of the Radictistan Football Cup.

Radictistani Football Association

The Radictistani Football Association is the principle organizing body for Radictistani football. The RFA is responsible for administering the league hierarchy and the Radictistan national football team. The body sanctions all professional competitive football in the country. The association has a total of 347 member clubs.

League system

Professional football in Radictistan follows a hierarchical league system with each level of competition promoting and relegating teams to the next higher and lower levels based on their performance. There is a total of 202 clubs playing within the league system in six levels of competition. Each league and division uses a double round-robin system with each club playing every other club twice. Three points are awarded for each win and one point awarded for a tie. Teams are ranked first by total points, then by goal difference, then by total goals scored. The Nuxenstat Feur club has the most league championships of any Radictistani football club.

The term "Double Event" is unofficially used when the same team wins both competitions and teams are said to have won the "Double Crown."

National team

Men

The Radictistani national football team represents Radictistan in international competitions. It is managed by the Radictistani Football Association. The team's mascot is the Radictistani national animal, the hornet.

The Radictistani women's national football team is also run by the RFA.

Women's league system

Women's football in Radictistan has a much lower stature than that of men's football with fewer teams and consistently lower average ticket sales per game. The women's league table has only four levels of play with eighty teams. The women's league uses the same team ranking rules as the men's league and has a similar promotion and relegation system.
