Lannish Football Association

The Lannish Football Association (LFA) is the principle organizing body for Lannish football. The LFA is responsible for administering the league hierarchy and the Team Lann (National Team). The body sanctions all professional competitive football in the country. The association has a total of 347 member clubs. The LFA's First World Cup appearance was in the 1938 World Cup Italy, in which "The Foxes" managed to reach a creditable Third Place after losing to Host Italy 1-0 in the Semifinals and beat The Republic of Sansderium 3-2 at the Partenopeo Stadium, upon returning to Lannistter, The Foxes were received as all national heroes, mainly due to the fact of having achieved such a performance in only their first participation, although for the Joy to the fans and not so fans of the Lannish Football, four titles would arrive, the first in 1946, in the Lannistter Cup (5-3 over Ceskoslovak), the second in 1950 in the Brazil Cup (4-1 over Uruguay) , the third in the Karia-Hakyode 2002 World Cup (5-5 and finally 7-6 on penalties over The Republic of Sansderium) and the last and most recent in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, after beating France 3-1) The Lannish Football Association had the honor of hosting the FIFA World Cup on one occasion, in the 1946 World Cup, in which 24 teams participated, and the local team emerged as champions after beating Cezkoslovak 5-3 in the Kukynen Stadion of New Arkhangelsk (Which was demolished in 2008 to build the Arkhangelsk Olympic Stadium in its location due to the refusal of the government of the nation to restore the original Stadium, being that the structure built in 1894 was too old to to be simply reinforced, it needed a rebuilding from scratch, and that was done, building a New World Class Stadium with a capacity for 95,000 Spectators on the coast of the Öddendorrf River), this tournament was also the third appearance of the LFA in the World Cup of FIFA, achieving a surprising title at home and with the full support of their fans
