Biography

Beaumont was born Lord Betrand Beaumont on 5 March 1979 and is the son of The 9th Duke of Ramsford and his late wife Annabelle, a relative of the House of Portavira. He and his family also is descended from the House of Beaufort in England and related to the Skavandian royal family (the House of Ryan) through his honorary sister Queen Riley, who married King Liam in 2021, and had the heir to the Skavandian throne Princess Eleanor. Beaumont has a younger brother, Lord Maxwell Beaumont.

Beaumont and his brother Lord Maxwell grew up with the royal family as their father was close to King Constantine The King Father and Queen Eleanor. They had extended stays at Applewood Manor and were considered family by the King and Queen. The royal family took Beaumont and Lord Maxwell in for several months after their mother the Duchess of Ramsford passed away in 2004. Their father the 9th Duke of Ramsford became sick in 2007 and fell into a coma, upon being deemed unlikely to wake up, Beaumont became the 10th Duke of Ramsford and managed the family estate and became guardian of Lord Maxwell while he was still a minor for two years.

Beaumont had began a sexual encounter with his future wife Savannah Walker during the 2018 social season. Walker was also close to the royal family as she was the daughter Jackson Walker, a member of the King's Royal Guard, and grew up with King Liam as her brother Drake was the best friend of the then prince. After difficulties in their relationship, Beaumont and Walker stopped seeing each other due to the social stigma of nobles having extramarital sex. Walker discovered she was pregnant with Beaumont's child but kept it secret from him after their separation. Walker gave birth to her and Beaumont's son, Lord Bartie Beaumont, in late 2018 on the Walker Ranch outside of McKinney, Texas, her mother's home. Their son has both American, French and Skvandian nationality and was raised in Paris.

After Walker came back to court, Beaumont discovered that he had a son. After the discovery, the couple reconciled which led to a civil ceremony on 30 October 2021 on the Walker Ranch in Texas, at which time she became the Duchess of Ramsford and their son became a Lord. A press release announced that the couple amended their son's Texas birth certificate and changed his last name to Beaumont.

In March 2021, then Riley Lopes from The Bronx, New York City, became an honorary member of the House of Beaumont and became the honorary sister of Beaumont and his brother Lord Maxwell. Beaumont's brother Maxwell met Lopes during King Liam's bachelor party in New York City and invited her to come to Skavand and compete to court the then prince. Maxwell asked Beaumont if Lopes could become a member as it is a requirement to attend the social season. Beaumont hesitantly agreed and in Lord Maxwell's memoir The Royal Romance, he was described as saying that he accepted Riley into their house so in that the event she did marry King Liam, that their house would be officially related to the Skavandian royal family and restore their family finances and prestige.
