Engelberg (Freie Reichsstadt Engelberg) is the capital and second-largest city of the Englean Kaiserreich. Engelberg has served as the capital of the Englean Kaiserreich since 875 AD, when it was designated as the capital by Kaiser Heinrich I. The urban district of the city houses the primary workings of the Englean Imperial government, including the Reichstag, Reichsrat, and the Englean Imperial Palace. The city is also a province of the Empire, being one of the 3 Free Imperial Cities within the nation. Engelberg acts as the "Imperial Capital" of the nation, since it houses the majority of governmental operations. Its sister city, Berlin, acts as the nation's "Economic Capital" with the majority of the Kaiserreich's economic infrastructure and operations being housed there. As the most influential city within the Kaiserreich and Eastern Corentia (after Dronden), the city also hosts headquarters for various agencies: secondary HQ for the ACCS, HQ for the Englean Imperial Commonwealth, and the HQ for SUNINTERPOL Corentia.
