The Venadian Wars of Religion, also known as the Venadian Crusades, were a series of wars and invasions waged in modern day Venadia. The Wars are considered to have started with the martyrdom of Saint Viktor of Venadia in 993, although skirmishes between pagan and christian slavs had occured since at least the 980s. The background of the Wars originates in the conversion of several Venadian chieftains and polities (most prominently Venagorod) by Saint Viktor of Venadia, which resulted in the tribal wars and skirmishes of the Venadian slavs to blossom into full-on wars of religion, assisted by foreign crusaders.

The war ended in the complete supremacy of the Christian faith throughout Venadia, who would spend the next centuries wiping out the native Venadian pagan faith. It also resulted in the establishment of stronger Venadian polities, primarily the strengthening of the Republic of Venagorod and the establishment of the Grand Duchy of Kandovy and the Republic of Viniya, but also numerous smaller republics and duchies who would be gradually integrated into Venagorod, Kandovy and Viniya. The Archbishrop of Venagorod gained religious supremacy over the territories, and newly christened states in Venadia would join the Vesan Crusades.
