The MG18, officially the Maschingevär Modell 1918, is an Acrean 12.7x104mm heavy machine gun designed by Eirik von Sjögren for the Acrean Armed Forces in the 1910s. Derived from the earlier MG09 also designed by Sjögren, the MG18 was a second major attempt to develop a heavy machine gun for use both as an emplaced weapon and as heavier aircraft armament.
