The Bucephalus class battleship is a battleship in service with the Imperial & Federal Navy, and is the newest capital ship design to be delivered. Bucephalus class vessels are intended to supplement the Admonitor-class Battleship in fleet operations. While the Bucephalus class possesses the same degree of heavy firepower as the Admonitor, the Bucephalus lacks many of the high end command and control structures and additional command space of the Admonitor. In this way, the Bucephalus was designed to maintain the same level of firepower at a lower price, reserving Admonitor class vessels for battle squadron or fleet flagship roles, while the Bucephalus class makes up the majority of the Battle Fleet's strength.
