The Admonitor class Battleship is a battleship in service with the Imperial & Federal Navy, and is among the most powerful ships of the wall in the fleet, short of the Navy's dreadnoughts. Admonitor class battleships are outfitted to be command vessels for battleship divisions and even whole fleets, or operate in independent formations. As a result, Admonitor class vessels generally form a major part of most Battle Fleets, and are committed to the most important naval campaigns. The Admonitor class is generally named for words and terms that imply ideas of power, as well as various mottoes and phrases. Heavily outmassing almost every other vessel in the fleet, the Admonitor class boasts extremely heavy firepower, armour, and active protection. However, the Admonitor class is relatively hard to manoeuvrer at STL, and is slow at FTL speeds. As the centrepiece of most major fleets, the Admonitor class is widely used as a flagship for these fleets. In large scale fleet actions, the Admonitor forms the main section of the wall of battle. The Admonitor is designed solely for engaging the enemy's capital vessels, and destroying them in direct action. As the Admonitor is one of the most valuable vessels in the fleet, it is generally only committed when the enemy's main fleet has been identified and brought to battle.
