Malah family
The Malah family is a Sindhi family with a tradition of merchant seafaring and connections to the labor movement.
Some members of the family and associated families were confirmed to have been involved in organised crime.

History
The seafaring ties of the Malah family date to time immemorial as their name Malah translates as “sailor”.
Abdullah Malah ‘s father was a sailor who died at sea, his grandfathers on both sides were also sailors as was his paternal great-grandfather.
In 2101, at the age of sixteen, Abdullah Malah joined the Merchant Navy having previous made a living as a bootlegger since his father’s death at the age of fourteen.
He served in various wars, winning the Khalid Medal but also continued to be involved in organised crime.
In 2103, Able Seaman Abdullah Malah I he married Fatima Memon I who changed her name to Fatima Malah. He had three children with her: Abdullah Malah II (age: 17) Fatima Malah II (age: 14) and Khadijah Malah (age: 11).
In 2114, he married noblewoman and schoolteacher Aisha Khan who also changed her name and in, 2115 gave birth to their daughter, Sumayyah Malah (now six years old).
Abdullah Malah I won the Khalid Medal in the war with India (the Al-Khilafah Merchant Navy becomes an auxiliary to the military in wartime) but was also killed by the Northumbrian Navy when caught in the act of firearms smuggling.
Abdullah Malah II also has experience in two wars, the Al-Khilafah Chinese War (as a fifteen year old apprentice) and the Al-Khilafah American War.
Politics
Since Nuh Malah (Abdullah Malah’s paternal grandfather father), the Malah family have been active in labor unionism.
Abdullah Malah supported the Traditionalist Party until 2121, when he switched to the Labor Party of which he was a founding member.
