The 2020 Ørdegnien presidential election was held on 14 May 2020. The acting President, independent Johan Olsson, was elected to a full, five-year term, with 71.1% of the popular vote, defeating former People's Party leader, Valdemar Söderberg. It was the fifteenth direct election for the Ordennyan Presidency, and the first Presidential election in which there were only two candidates for the position, as well as the first election to only have a single round of voting. Ordennya uses the two-round system for Presidential elections, but as only two candidates were nominated, only one round was held. Turnout was 59%, as unlike federal parliamentary elections, voting in Presidential elections is not compulsory.
