The M/A-212 SSM is a supersonic Anti-ship and cruise missile designed and manufactured by Kobalt-Zeiss AG and NordEX Försvarssystemet AB. It is the most ubiquitous anti-ship missile in Acrean inventory, and can be launched by any ship ranging from Type 829-class battlecruisers to Type 09-class coastal corvettes as well as from aircraft. In addition to the ship-based SSM, a second variant of the M/A-212 called the MSM entered service in 2018. With a reshaped body, the MSM was designed to fit in more compact launch platforms, enabling it to be used by carrier-launched EF-650M Strigas and to fit within more confined VLS launch systems. Because of the EF-650's stealth capability and the long range of the MSM when launched from high-altitude, the combination is currently considered one of the Acrean Navy's principle anti-ship strike platforms.
