Bouenezenn Island (Ebrarese: Insula Insmerda, Aurivizh: Bouenezenn) is an island off the coast of Aurivizh in the Adlantic Ocean. It is located south of the Yeetland peninsula, part of the continent of Argis.
Geopolitically, Bouenzenn Island is divided between the [descriptor] of Bouenezenn in the west and the Christian State of Insmerda in the east.
Timeline
- Settled by Geltic peoples
- 6th century: Aromano-Ebrarian colonists settle in eastern Bouenezenn, form city states. Area named Insmerda by Ebrarians.
- 780: Kingdom of Ebrary founded on the mainland by Vorstish conquerors, does not include any part of Bouenezenn.
- Kingdom of Gallasia invades furthest eastern portion of Bouenezenn c. 800 and controls this area.
- Sometime between 850 - 1000 the Duchy of Gailivizh or other Aurivizh polity invades and conquers entire island. Maybe all at once or in multiple wars. Ebrarians inhabit coastal settlements, small number of Gallasians also. They are Christians, Aurivizh may or may not be christian at time of conquering.
