PlatiThunder VICOM, founded as Victoria Computers (1958) and later renamed to VICOM Computing Solutions (1965-2003) is a multinational tech company which produces information technology hardware under the Hoterallian-based PlatiThunder brand. Although nowadays it's most notable products are it's line of laptops and workstations aimed at businesses, until the 1990's VICOM was one of the largest producers of minicomputers in the world, well-known for it's BNC line of minicomputers which were used widely across the world.

By 2003, VICOM had substantially cut down it's workforce and development facilities, as the minicomputer market where it once dominated had dried up as a result of smaller microcomputers becoming more powerful in terms of computer power while decreasing in cost. VICOM barely subsisted selling networking equipment and business-oriented workstations until January 2003 when VICOM finally went bankrupt amidst the 2002-2003 Gassasinian Recession. Later in the year it was announced that the Hoterallian consumer electronics company PlatiThunder has acquired VICOM, and VICOM was thereafter renamed to PlatiThunder-VICOM. Although VICOM remains but a fraction of it's gargantuan presence during the 1960's and 1970's, their EnterpriseTop line of business-oriented laptops has received wide acclaim.
