Toendraland is a medium sized nation located in the northern part of Astaria on Anteria. the country is divided into 4 provinces and 2 territories.

History

Pre-Union

Era of city-states (AKA the Fort Era)

The fort era was a period of time where almost every city and town had it's own king and was surrounded by huge castle walls, which still stand today, hence the name fort era

Trade Alliances

Trade alliances were unions between city-states typicaly formed around a body if water, such as Meßkaw lake and the Sowv sea.

Lake Union

The lake union was a union between Meßkaw, Hetßaferd, Arsona and Jeruuslam, which was created to defend against the Lake Pirates and enemy attacks. It is said that this was the precourser to Toendraland

Government System

The Toendran government is quite complex, it holds elections every time the King dies/gets banished. Once these elections are held the people vote for different parties to control the Royal Council, which passes laws. The party with the most seats gets the right to determine who get's to be King and Prime Minister. Normally the King and Prime Minister are from the same political party as the party who holds a majority in the Royal Council. If the Royal Council does not like the current King, they have the ability to remove his power and position as King, and in some cases even banished to Kuhi'um.

Tradition Urichi music includes a mix of Drums, Percussian(e.g. Clapping) and vocals.

Cuisine

Traditinal Urichi and Toendran Cuisine are very simular, mostly being made from rabbits and mooses and berries, in dishes such as Berry soup, which is a mixture Berries, Boiled Water and the leaves of an oyester plant, Rabbit on Lyme bread, which is made from grinding Lyme Grass into flour and mixing with water, then baking it, then add some cooked rabit(traditionally cooked on a campfire) and spicing the rabbit with Lovage.
