Jonathan Edward Saunders I (November 7, 1955 – May 3, 2012) was an Earth Human military officer who led the revolution against the United States until his assassination. He is widely regarded as the Father of Earth Humans for being the founder of the Earth Humans.

Saunders previously served in the United States Army from 1973 until he was dishonorably discharged in 2000. He became a General in 1994 for his leadership skills over his battalion. As a firm believer in strong democratic laws, he opposed multiple different practices of the Federal government of the United States. One of which included the usage of the United States Electoral College. He attempted multiple times to convince Congress to abolish the Electoral College, all of which failed.

Early life and career

Early Life

Jonathan Edward Saunders I was born on November 7, 1955, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Irish immigrants Patrick Saunders (b. 1928) and Karen (Smith) Saunders (b. 1937). He has a younger brother named Donald (b. 1959). When John was 13 his family moved from Boston to Miami, Florida where he lived until he turned 18.

Military Career

In 1973 John moved back to Boston where he enlisted in the United States Army. He was stationed at United States Army Soldier Systems Center in Natick, Massachusetts. On November 8, 2000, one day after his 45th birthday, he created a militia and revolted against the United States due to George W. Bush winning the Electoral vote despite losing the popular vote in the 2000 United States Presidential Election.

He was dishonorably discharged on November 8, 2000, and was labeled a traitor to the United States. By December 2000 he created the Earth Humans National Defense where he was unanimously chosen to be the Captian of the army. He led the revolution until his death in 2012. After his death, he was awarded the Medal of Freedom by his son Michael, who took over leadership of the revolution just minutes after his father's death.

Assassination attempt and Death

At 9:07 AM EDT on May 3, 2012, Saunders was shot in the chest by a rogue FBI agent while attending a rally in Boston. The agent was identified as Kyle MacDonald, who claimed he was hired to assassinate Saunders. An investigation into MacDonald's claim was conducted, but police never found any evidence of MacDonald being hired by any person to kill Saunders.

He was immediately rushed to Boston Medical Center where he was operated on for three and a half hours.

Death

Saunders came out of surgery around 12:45 PM EDT. He was expected to make a full recovery. At 1:11 PM EDT, Saunders went into cardiac arrest and doctors unsuccessfully tried to revive him. He was pronounced dead at 1:21 PM EDT.

He was interred at Massachusetts National Cemetery, which is a military cemetery. He is survived by both of his parents, brother, wife, children, and two nephews.
