Michael Saunders (born March 21, 1975) is an Earthling who is Acting President of the Earth Humans, he assumed office on January 21, 2019. A member of the Liberal Party, he is the first acting president of the Earth Humans.
Biography
Early life
Saunders was born on March 21, 1975, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He was born to Lorna (née Deville) and John Saunders. During most of Saunders adolescence, his parents usually lived separately due to his father being in the military. Michael primarily lived with his mother and brother in Boston. When Michael was 25, his father, amongst others, revolted against the United States due to the Electoral College voting for George W. Bush despite Bush losing the popular vote. The next twelve years was tough on Michael due in part to numerous threats made against him and his family. On the morning of May 3, 2012, a rogue FBI}} agent shot Michael's father, John. John was rushed to Boston Medical Center where he was operated on for three and a half hours. Roughly 30 minutes after coming out of surgery, John went into cardiac arrest and died. The agent was later apprehended and taken into custody by the Boston Police Department where he was charged with Assination of a Political Figure and was later put on trial where he was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of the death sentence.
Education
Michael attended East Boston High School from 1989-1993. While in high school he met his future wife Madeleine Davies while both were freshmen. After Saunders graduated high school he attended Harvard University where he studied government, politics, and civics. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997.
Marriage and family
On July 30, 1995, Michael and Madeleine married in Boston. In 1996 Madeleine gave birth to their first child, Cassidy and in 2001 gave birth to their second child, Matthew. On February 10, 2019, Saunders announced they were expecting their third child in September 2019.
Career
After his father had died, Michael announced he would lead the revolution in his father's footsteps as he believed his father would want him to do. For the next six years, Michael was the leader of the revolution. On November 8, 2018, Michael met with President Trump of America where Trump formally acknowledged the Earth Humans as an independent nation free from the control of the Federal government of the United States.
Presidency
On January 17, 2019, in a special election, Saunders was elected to be the Acting President of the newly formed country.
