Talk:Baltican Civil War

TLDR by Rhodellia, as of March 22nd Start • In Baltica, there is a lot of ethnic tensions between its Dolch colonisers and native Ras peoples. • President Algridas Banis dies of a stroke. • Baltica fragments into multiple smaller ethnostates dominated either by Dolchs (ruling ethnic minority) or Ras (oppressed ethnic majority). • Arunas proclaims himself as President Algridas' successor and his faction claims to be direct continuation of the former Dolch-dominated and Ras-oppressing *Baltican government* based in the Baltican capital of Goja (Dark Green on the map, in the East). • Jonas Banis (Algrida's son) becomes President of the *Republic of Dokestva* (Blue on the map, in the South), a majority-Dolch faction and apartheid state that systemically oppresses local Ras. • Gedrus Izas becomes President of the *Republic of Baltija* (Dark Yellow on the map, in the Northeast), a majority-Ras faction that is actively genociding local Dolchs. • Nekolas Armenas becomes President of the *Republic of Raskia* (Light Green on the map, in the Southwest), a majority-Ras faction that hasn't really done anything yet. • General Simas Jancious and Head Secretary Juozas Vejas become leaders of the *Free Republic of Kauni* (Dark Orange on the map, in the centre), a neutral faction which so far just wants to defend itself.

Important stuff that happened so far** • Seylos, Delamaria, Ahrana, Fina, and Hinteria send over 1,000 troops (including a lot of modern aircraft) to intervene, help protect Kauni and humanitarian aid workers, and establish a No-Fly Zone over Kauni. • A large number of Rhodellians volunteers join the Seylosian Foreign Humanitarian Corps. • San Castellino sends 600 troops to reinforce Baltija. • Ateenia sends small arms and humanitarian aid to Raskia. • Velaheria and Stedoria send about 10,250 troops to assist Dokestva. • About 1,000 Rhodellian volunteers join the *Govir Baltican Army* to be insurgents against Dokestva and help start a new democratic constitutional republic.
