The Royal Navy (Brumenese: Königliche Marine), also commonly referred to as the GAR Navy or Brumen Navy, is the Naval wafare service branch of the Grand Army of the Realm. Established since 1305 the Royal Navy is amongst the oldest navies in the world. Its primary duties include defense of Brumen against sea-borne threats, protection of the nation's Exclusive Economic Zone and sea lines of communication. The Königliches Marinekorps (Royal Marine Corps) is a sub-branch of the Royal Navy and serves as its elite naval infantry component comprised of approximately 9,000 Marines.

Capabilities
Brumen maintains a green water navy that is used strictly for the protection of its EEZ and territorial waters and for these ends it has maintained a ship inventory that reflects this defensive doctrine. Anti-air/General Purpose Frigates & anti-submarine corvettes form the core element of Brumen's surface force, complemented by a substantial number of fast missile boats, patrol vessels and diesel electric attack submarines serving as force multipliers. The navy does not operate any fixed-wing combat aircraft although it does employ several types of AWACS, maritime patrol aircraft as well as unmanned aerial vehicles in its inventory. The introduction of the Monarch-class Landing Platform Helicopters greatly expanded the navy's anti-submarine warfare capabilities as it increased the operational range of the navy's combat helicopters. Brumen maintains a small number of professional marines in its service, used primarily to protect its naval assets and engage in local small-scale amphibious operations if necessary.
