Imperial Confederation

The Imperial Confederation, often simplified to The Confederation is a sovereign country located within the Hyporian Sector, the Malvidian Sector, and the Lesphagian Sector. The Imperial Confederation's government is housed on the artificial constructed psuedoplanet of Astivon. There are five official member planets to the Confederation: Apregius, Barylius, Octavius, Stellus, and Canidoria. Every official member planet is located within the Hyporian Sector. The Imperial Confederation also has six observatory member planets to the Confederation: Qel, Kiridus, Ardomachia in the Hyporian Sector; Sormidia, Rokophantes in the Malvidian Sector; and Viedma in the Lesphagian Sector. As observatory members, they are considered to be under the Extended Law of the Imperial Confederation. The Imperial Confederation borders the Akannite Empire in the Malvidian Sector near Sormidia, and the Lijiang in the Lesphagian Sector near Viedma.

The Imperial Confederation was initially formed as a non-aggression between the Apregian Republic, the Barylian Republic, the United Republic of Stellus, and the Octavian Empire after the four had come into contact over the planet of Birospa. During the early years of the experimentation of interplanetary travel, none of the four factions could afford to initiate an interstellar war.

The Imperial Confederation is the most diverse intergalactic state, have six different recognized state species (Apregians, Barylians, Stellans, Octavians, Caniderians, Canidiums) and nine different minority species (Qel, Kiridesians, Ardomachians, Sormidians, Rokphantics, Akannovans, Akannitians, Akannuuls, and Lijiangites)
