South Metro
South Metro is the Dream City Central Business District or the CBD. It is home to 27 skyscrapers standing 100 meters (328 feet) above ground level. There are major banks such as Freedonia Bank, Dream City Bank, and Bank of E. Major media corporations are in the CBD include, the Dream City Observer newspaper office, The Freedonia Times, The Saint Franics Herrald suboffice, along with Freedonia 24 news channel, Freedonia Broadcasting Corporation (FBC), Dream City News 7, and Northland 10.
South Metro also has several fashion firms like Decor, GA Apparel, Dream City Outfitters, and many smaller firms. There are modeling firms such as Glitz Model, GQ Model, Freedonia National INC, and many more. Ad agencies, such as Big Tree Ad Agency and many more have headquarters in South Metro. Law firms such as Yin & Yang, Mike Butler and Son, Howle Law and many more are located in South Metro. There are major corporate offices from tourism agencies, national corporate offices, the Dream City Stock Exchange, mutual fund offices, financial intuitions and much more.
There are small businesses such as restaurants, electrical shops, furniture shops, fast food restaurants such as Savory Fried Chicken and Binge Burger are within the CBD. There are corner stores and markets and other small businesses within the district. There are middle class apartments, and some upper middle-class apartments in the area. There is an observation deck in the city recently opened in 2021. It is over 387 meters (1,270 feet tall) which is equivalent to 98 Storey skyscraper. Approximately the CBD, serves 60,000 workers daily from the Dream City-Patriot City- Bella Costa Metropolitan Area.
Sunny Beach
Sunny Beach is considered the tourism district of the city. The first beach resort (Ocean Grove) was built in 1894 and is still in operation to this day. There several beach resorts within the district The Sunny Beach Pier is the largest and longest in the country. There're multiple 3–5-star hotels with district. Including the famous Mangata Hotel (opened 1909). Sunny Beach is long at 3.2 km or 2 miles and very packed during the summer months. There are beach houses in the district that can be rented or bought. The population of Sunny Beach can swell to over 150,000 at any given day during peak tourism months. Sunny Beach is the most expensive place to rent or buy a house in city. There are mansions and villas dating as far back as 1890. A few mansions are owned by the Dream City Historical Society and are open to tourists and the public all year long. There are multiple casinos within the district. Traffic is such a problem in the district that Bus Rapid Transit lanes where to first to open in the city and country in December 2015 in Sunny Beach. The system has expanded to the entire neighborhood and the city. With 5 BRT routes operating in the district along with regular bus routes and nearly 40% of all taxis operated by the Dream City Public Transportaion Authority largely stationed in Sunny Beach. There is 1, 100 meter (328 feet) tall skyscraper in Sunny Beach, called Ledra Hotel and Casino. There is 0.5 miles (0.8 km) of private beach for wealthy residents of Sunny Beach.
Star Hill
Star Hill is called the shopping district of Dream City and the Arts Center. There're some fast-food restaurants, high end boutiques, shoe shops, clothes shops, jewelry shops, cosmetic shops, coffee bistros and cafes. There are many theaters, cinemas, art galleries, gas stations. There is a large hypermarket and shopping mall in the district. There is a lot of studio apartments, artist lofts, garden apartments. The district is home to the Dream City Cultural Center, The Dream City Oprea House, The Dream City Art and Design Center, Dream City Convention Center. The district is hilly especially away from the shopping district. There are some family homes and City View Hill Park in the hills. The main throughfares include Star Hill Boulevard a 6-lane divided treelined boulevard that connects to M-4 Motorway. And City View Avenue, a 4-lane street that turns into a 2-lane street in hills.
Old District
The Old District is the low-income district in Dream City. There are flats and public housing in the district. The district has a high per capita of convenience stores. There are no formal grocery stores in the district. There is low-income cake and bakery shops, old diners, fast food restaurants, several pawn shops, motorcycle and car dealers, more barber shops than anywhere else in the city, workshops (factories aka sweatshops). The Old District Night Market is the largest night market in the country. Old District is the most densely populated area of the city. The district has the highest crime and murder rate in the city. 38% of residents live in poverty, there is a high homeless population, unemployment stood at 22.1% (above the city average of 15.6% and below the national average of 23.9%) in 2022. The district is prone to flooding which has caused extensive damage in 1983, 1987, 1999, and 2022. There were 21 murders in the district in 2021. There were 24 murders citywide. The Black Tiger and Red Sun have been in a gang war since 2019. The Freedom Fighters a vigilante crime fighting group has been fighting crime in the district and citywide since 2015. After budget cuts by City Council that continue to this day. The Freedom Fighters have been reported to be involved in drug smuggling to fund their operation. In 2021 The Dream City Council designated the Freedom Fighters a crime syndicate and gang.
