The Kingdom of Freedonia or just Freedonia is a nation in the Coalition of Crown Albatross located of the coast of the continent of Adula, in the Toyana Ocean. The Kingdom is divided into 10 Regions. Freedonia is a developed country.

Etymology

The first theory comes from Freedom lands or Free lands. Another theory comes from a ancient settlement that may or may not existed before the widely accepted date of humans first arriving on the Freedonia Islands in 1066. It is unclear when the inhabitants of the islands starting calling their lands Freedonia.

History

Pre 1707

Prior to the discovery of Freedonia in 1506, the country was uninhabited. In 1506 a group of settlers' release pigs into the wild of the Freedonia wilderness. The pig population rapidly increased, destroying the habitat of numerous species. In 1506 to 1707 the lands of Freedonia would be settled slowly by various groups from Adula. The population would exceed 250,000, prior to the creation of the Kingdom of Freedonia.

Absolute Monarchy 1707-1901

The House of Glassia would effectually declare themselves monarchs of Freedonia. Between 1707 and 1710 the House of Glassia would unite the country under their rule. King James Glassia I (reign: 1707-1731) would announce that regardless of race and religion, all shall be treated equals among the monarchy. With the creation of the state of Freedonia, delegates would be sent to nations that were monarchies at the time.
