Sprotavia, formally Sprotavian Republic is a Republic/Dictatorship hybrid situated in Northern Nortua in the Coalition of Crown Albatross. Sprotavia has estimated population of 40 000 000, one of the largest in Nortua. Lyakvia is the nation's capital and the largest metropolis. Other major cities include Bliskobrzeg, Vitovt, Caunas and Olgapol. Sprotavia's occupies Sprotavia Proper, as well as all of the islands surrounding it (Vojim, Kurir, Ostriv Vedmidny, Rokas) and continental Sprotavia Exterior. Sprotavia's only neighbour is Great Alescoll which borders it in the west. They also share martime boundaries.
Sprotavia is a developing country with decent living standars, but many of it's areas are undeveloped. It is below average technologically due to it's isolationist policy. Sprotavia's economy is highly sovereign and largely self-sufficient, but not very strong. It has a relatively big military and widely armed population. Healthcare and education are universal, but lacking in several areas. Government is determined to pursue eco-friendly solutions and nation's nature remains unblemished. Sprotavia is culturally and ethnically diverse and takes preservation of cultures very seriously.
