The Schutztruppe (Vierz: "Protection Force"; Tieradan: Fuerza de Protección), commonly known by their Tieradan nickname Las Calaveras ("the skulls"), was a paramilitary unit in Preisland created by and subject to Abraham Atse, the country's dictator from 1978 until 199X. The militia was originally formed in 1976 as Atse's personal bodyguard, but later evolved to become the national secret police.
