Michael, Prince of Belfras (born Michael Sergios Phillippos; 22 March 1989) was born at Palatium Mondris to Prince Sergios, Duke of Patrinos and XXXX. He is the second child of Sergios, with his sister Theodora being born in 1985. In his early years Michael followed his father through the illustrious Jason V Academy and on through Nuovo Portelli in which he gained degrees in finance management with the aim of joining his father in the Royal Mint, the country's official bank and gold depository for the crown.
Early Years and education
Michael Sergios Phillippos was born at Palatium Mondris, the ancestral home of the House of Dimitrios, the reigning royal family of the Federation of Belfras. His father, the Prince Sergios, spent much of Michael's early years away from home on foreign trips in his role as head of the country's main bank, the Royal Mint. After four years being raised mostly by his mother and sister, Michael was brought into the royal court in which he spent more years with his uncle, King Nicholaus and his cousins by the King until he was at an age in which he could attend the Jason V Academy to follow in his fathers footsteps. It was around this time that Sergios began to take an active role in Michael's life, taking him horseback riding and sailing through the Thessalonan sound for his 18th birthday.
After several trips to the Royal Mint with his father, Michael began to take a vested interest in the world of finances and accountancy, so a point that when he was able to attend Nouvo Portelli he angled his education toward gaining degrees in accountancy and finance management. For this, Michael was apparently guaranteed a role within the Royal Mint and following his graduation has worked alongside his father and is widely accepted as his intended successor.

Michael's personal life has been the focus of several magazine reports, with a party at his private residence in Mondria featuring in the Royal View August 2018 edition.

As a Belfrasian Prince and a member of the House of Dimitrios, Michael does not utilize a surname. If he were to utilize a surname, it would be likely that he would take on the Dimitrios Name; however, it is also possible that the name for all children of the sovereign to simple be "of Belfras". For ceremonial and formal purposes, Michael is entitled to the rank of "prince" after their Christian name followed by the territorial designation "of Belfras." This means that Michael would be styled as "Michael, Prince of Belfras." Although most common practices have the title of "prince" be before the name, making Michael known in common terms as "Prince Michael".
