The Hani-Messous Airport is an airport located in Messous, 12.7 kilometers north-west of Hani, Salamat. It has the particularity to border directly the sea. The airport was built during the Jalil Al Kharrabi reign in 1986 as a military airport. It was successfully converted as a civilian airport in 2000, with the construction of a new terminal and the destruction of the military base. Another military base was built 19 kilometers east of Hani. It is the fourth most busiest airport of Salamat, behind Dar Al Hamma-Shahid Airport, Ghafun-Lakhdar Airport and Douara-Khafid Airport with 7.4 million annual users of the airport. It has one terminal and one runway.
