The Orsolyan Genocide was the systemic destruction of Székely people, specifically the systemic destruction of Székely females committed by the Empire of Hegyhát under Orsolya I of Hegyhát in the aftermath of the First Hegyhát War. Hegyhát matriarchy and the canidological aspects played a big part alongside the acts of Orsolya I's predecessor, Dorottya I and the Dorottya Kidnapping. The Orsolyan Genocide is the single largest mass murder of any group committed within The Empire. The Orsolyan Genocide implemented policies on Székely males later that resulted in Székely males often being forced marriage with Hegyhát women.

During the Proto-Imperial Era, the Hegyhát people were reknown as the Empire of Hegyhát for their domineering power within the Videk of the Imperial South. They neighbored a variety of unorganized and disparate Székely, Hajmaskar, and Kaposvar tribes.
