Székely people are an Imperial tribe that were formerly native to the Megye of Kaposvar. The Székely are considered to be a subculture of the Hoditok, alongside the Hegyhat, Hajmaskar, Kaposvar, Nagykallo and Kiskallo. The Székely have historically been persecuted by the Hegyhat dating back to the Proto-Imperial Era around the First Hegyhat War where the Hegyhat launched a fullscale war on the Székely and Hajmaskar. As a result of events revolving around the First and Second Hegyhat War alongside the social climate of the Imperial South, the Székely are an exclusively male tribe. Historically, female Székely were the most persecuted by the matriarchial Hegyhat culture.

During the Proto-Imperial Era, an unorganized confederation of Székely, Hajmaskar and Kaposvar tribes attempted to muster a defense from the Hegyhat Empire, a matriarchial hegemonic empire that sought to expand from the Megye of Hegyhat into the Megye of Kaposvar. The First Hegyhat War saw Orsolya I of Hegyhat attempt to expand north against the wishes of the Székely tribes. The confederation quickly collapsed as the Hajmaskar eventually sought a peace treaty with the Hegyhat. The First Hegyhat War saw the wholesale femicide through the Orsolyan Genocide, eventually culminating in the end of the female line of Székely people.
