Fluctus-39b is an exoplanet discovered by the Salamati astronomer Nasri Jeddad on February 11 2007. It is the first exoplanet discovered by a Salamati person, and Nasri Jeddad was awarded by the president of Salamat at that time, Janub Mohamed Al Jumiyin. The planet is located at approx. 78.9 light years from Anteria and orbits around the star Fluctus-39, in the constellation of the same name and at the coordinates RA 14h 34m 27,948s Dec -17° 26′ 17,69″. The star has the spectral type K2V, meaning that the habitable zone is between 0.59 AU and 0.89 AU. According to these calculations, Fluctus-39b would be too hot to support life, with an estimated temperature of 338 Kelvins (~65°C or ~149°F).
