Counties

Imagua and the Assimas are divided into eight counties (Etrurian: contee, Western Imaguan Creole: lan), with all but the Assimas County being situated on the island of Imagua.

As a unitary state, the counties generally function only for statistical purposes and for judicial purposes, with most of the roles of the counties having been shifted towards the cities and towns, or towards the federal government. However, Assimas County has substantial autonomy because of its history, and its sizable Etrurian population.

Second-level administrative divisions

The second level administrative divisions in Imagua and the Assimas are commonly known as parishes (Etrurian: parrocchie, Western Imaguan Creole: sokeni). However, alongside the parishes are municipalities (Etrurian: comuni, Western Imaguan Creole: bui).
