The Battle of Mtshelelele was a major battle in the aftermath of the M'birunan Civil War where rebel forces of the Cha CHa Ungalakothi (CCU) Ingubu Militia were engaged in an intense and violent three day house-to-house battle against the Multinational Peacekeeping Force M'biruna (MPFM). It was fought on 19-22 September 2007 in Mtshelelele, M'biruna. The battle was a part of the larger insurgency in M'biruna that began on 27 April 2007 and is largely considered as a major turning point of the insurgency as CCU militia found itself unable to sustain a prolonged armed insurgency against the MPFM after the battle.
