St John's Church, officially the Amended Church on St. John. is an Amendist denomination in Carucere. It is the second largest Sotirian denomination, behind the Catholic Church, in the country and is the main church followed by the Amendist Bahian community. The Church was established by the December 1873 split from the Reformed and Amended Church of Sotirias (RACS), due to racial prejudice and physical isolation from Estmere. During the Gaullican rule, Church represented the Amendist community while colonial officials sought to suppress their faith. Due to its history, St John's Church is strongly associated with the Bahian community today. Unlike its predecessor, the Church of St John follows mainline theology and known for its embrace of ethnic diversity, strong emphasis on social justice, and environmentalism. Nevertheless it retains a socially conservative stance on issues such as LGBT+ rights, gender roles, and abortion.
