Albland

  • Allsaxony (green) — Großwestsachsen. In using English rather than a West Saxon-derived conlang I am of course merely following the example of using one language to represent another, fictional one set by a certain childhood friend marrier and holder of the Rawlinson and Bosworth Professorship.
  • Caitland (Caitish: Cataibh) (turquoise) — Dalriadan gf Bernician bf
  • Cumberland (Cumbrish: Cumbry) (brown) — In our world, Cumbric died out and Welsh lived; here, it's the other way round.
  • Monkchester (blue) — The privileges of the Haliwerfolc have been much abused over the centuries by coal merchants and slave traders; though Monkchester itself was no slave port, there is not a building in the city unstained with the trade's blood. Best known today for the antics of its Lord President's social media influencer son.

Northwestern Continent

  • Gow (Gowsh: Gouw) (rose) — 21st-century mercantile Protestant republicanism. Once had the world's greatest colonial empire, now its largest financial services industry.
  • Roland (grey) — Normans without the Latin influence, basically; they use English names because it's funny. "nooo that's not how languages work!!!" Don't care.
  • (blue) — Franks.
  • (yellow) — Germans. Frisians to be cleaved off.
  • (burgundy) — Burgundians.

!Iberia

  • (green) — Visigoths.
  • (yellow) — Swabians.
  • (brown-gold) — Andalusia.

!Italy

  • (turquoise) — South Slavic barbarians.
  • (green) — Germanic barbarians.

Eastern Continent/!Anatolia

  • (brown and purple) — From north to south: Poles; Czechs; and Slovaks.
  • (blue) — Dalmatian-speaking country.
  • (gold) — Wow your Byzantines are Rhomanians? Ours are Romanians.
  • (green) — Ukrainians.

  • All non-Eastern Romance languages except Dalmatian are extinct. The !Italian and !Iberian peninsulas have been thoroughly Germanicised and, respectively, Slavicised and Arabicised.
