St John's Church

It is the second largest Sotirian denomination, behind the Catholic Church, in the country and is the main church followed by the Amendist Bahian community. The Church was established by the December 1873 split from the Reformed and Amended Church of Sotirias (RACS), due to racial prejudice and physical isolation from Estmere. During Gaullican rule, Church represented the Amendist community while colonial officials sought to suppress their faith. Due to its history, St John's Church is strongly associated with the Bahian community and plays a major role in their society. Unlike its predecessor, the Church of St John follows mainline theology and known for its embrace of ethnic diversity, strong emphasis on social justice, and environmentalism. Nevertheless it retains a socially conservative stance on issues such as LGBT+ rights, gender roles, and abortion.

Currently the Church has 93,646 members across Carucere, who are largely Bahians although there over ten thousand Dezevauni members. Participation in religious services is consistently high, especially among Bahians due to its importance for Bahio-Carucereans. Its membership has been increasing over the past several decades; today it is the fastest growing church in Carucere.
