The Englean Interstellar Empire, officially the Englean Kaiserreich(Engleanisches Kaiserreich) is an absolute monarchy which presides in the Alpha Quadrant and Beta Quadrant in the universe. The empire consists of 135 star systems connected under the imperial government seated on Germania. The empire is a de-facto successor to the Englean Kaiserreich that existed on Sunalaya but it is stated to be a continuation of that nation. After 2260, the Englean Kaiserreich exists as a major power within the Alpha and Beta quadrants and often is seen as the competitor to the United Commonwealth of Planets and the Pantorran Imperium. It is often stated as the "gatekeeper of the Alpha" along with the Karenian Empire, which exists as a neighbour to the Kaiserreich.
