Abderali Al-Hazar (October 13 1916 - July 22 1994) was a Salamati-Riamese senator, politican and writer. He had an important role in the Peaceful Revolution in Riamo.

Early life

Abderali was born in a Salamati Shia Muslim family on October 13 1916 in Al Ajmayl, in center-eastern Salamat, which was then a colony of Riamo. He was the son of Rida Al-Hazar (April 8 1884 - May 30 1960) and Amira Al-Hazar (October 25 1883 - January 2 1957) and was the third of their seven children.

Abderali was one of the rare Salamatis to have access to education at that time, gaining this privilege thanks to Rida's participation on Riamo's side in the Great War. He attended elementary and secondary school, as well as the University of Dar Al Hamma, whose students were also exclusively Riamese young adults. There, he studied politics for several years, before getting his diploma in 1940. Abderali moved to Riamo with his wife in February 1943 and started his political career there.
