MalInv is a multinational investment bank headquartered in the United Kingdom of Malgrave. It coordinates heavily with state-run businesses such as MalPha and MalMart but also plays a role in organising the finances of many Regional Social Solidarity Councils and the ASG.

History

MalInv was established by the Malgravean government in 1910 in an attempt to secure international investment for the newly established country, however, the Great Exodus and the start of isolationism following the outbreak of the Malgravean Civil War led the company taking a lessened role in the Malgravean economy.

In the build-up to the end of isolationism and in an attempt to halt the economic decline that permeated the Lost Decade MalInv was expanded and given greater independence over it's operations, as a result MalInv has greatly expanded its operations and has been credited behind the expansion of many RSSC's into international markets.

Operations

Since 2000 MalInv has been tasked with aiding the expansion of Malgravean companies overseas, a recent example of this has been noted in the Republic of Breheim with MalInv supporting efforts of MalEn and Malgravean Automotive Industries to establish infrastructure for the local production of hydrogen cartridges in Breheim.

Since 1910, a portion of all revenue generated by companies in Malgrave is directed towards the Social Solidarity Fund. In 2000 MalInv was been given permission to utilise a portion of these funds to invest in foreign companies, as a result the Social Solidarity Fund has investments in companies across Mystria.

MalInv also helps organise the finances of Regional Social Solidarity Councils and the ASG. MalInv has been credited with the expansion of Social Solidarity Restaurants abroad, as they have provided greater access to resources to Malgraveans and foreigners which wish to join the cooperative to enhance their own purchasing power.
