The Pontifical Governorate (Vaetulian: Gubernatio Pontifica; Nemedian: Pontifische Provinz) is a governorate of Angvar and an enclave within the capital city of Mordegard. Formed in 26 September 1881 from the three boroughs that enclose the Mother of Mothers with its surrounding territory, the Pontifical Governorate is designated a special administrative unit subject to the Angvarian Crown and its laws.
