The 1981 World Cup, also called the 1981 Oskarsviik World Cup, was an international football tournament contested by men's national teams which took place between 11 April to May 8th, 1981 in Oskarsviik, Greater Normark. It was the 9th World Cup tournament and involved 32 teams, of which all came through qualifying competitions at the start of the event from an original 64 national teams. Both the defending champions, Andaluni, and the host nation Greater Normark lost in the semi-finals, and Normark took third place. In the final match, Constantio defeated Timeria with penalties for their first title.
