The Custodia Fisci is a law enforcement agency in the Blackhelm Confederacy, responsible for enforcing financial, fiscal, and customs regulations within the nation.
History
The Custodia Fisci traces its roots back to the Fiscalia, the predecessor organization that operated during the period of the Empire of Exponent. Following the collapse of the empire in 1996, the Fiscalia was disbanded along with many other remnants of the Imperial government. In 1997, however, the Custodia Fisci were created by the new Blackhelm Confederate Senate to fulfill the role and maintain many of the former traditions of the Fiscalia.
Mission and Responsibilities
The primary mission of the Custodia Fisci is to enforce financial, fiscal, and customs laws in the Blackhelm Confederacy. The organization is tasked with combatting tax evasion, smuggling, money laundering, and other financial crimes that threaten the nation's economic stability. The organization has also taken a leading role in the Blackhelm Confederacy's fight against the illegal drug trade.
The Custodia Fisci works closely with other law enforcement agencies and the government to coordinate efforts and ensure compliance with the law.
