Rihanh is the official language of the Rihan Republic and the mother tongue of the Rihannsu people. Linguists consider the language difficult to learn due to its complexity. There are a few fluent speakers outside Rihan but this is generally limited to diplomats and business people who interact with Rihannsu traders on a regular basis. Its origins are not entirely known but it is believed that rests within the wider Central Europan family of languages, having been morphed and expanded upon from the peoples they fought and lived amongst. When they resided within the borders of the Tagmatine Empire as a federated people, their speech saw many influences in what has become present-day Rihanh.
