Second Lieutenant Mary Pembroke CM, KC is a Vionna-Frankenlischian military officer from Rachdale in the Earldom of Brumley who has served in the Imperial Army since 2018. Born in 2003, Pembroke is the youngest holder of the prestigious King's Cross. Pembroke began her military career in the King's Own Middle Frankenlisch Rangers, the regiment of her liege lord, but transferred to the City of Briceport Yeomanry while still an apprentice officer. As a Cornet of that regiment, Pembroke fought at the Battle of Entrylli with distinction. After returning to Frankenlisch, Pembroke was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Briceport Light Dragoons, awarded the King's Cross, and was invested as a Companion of the Order of the Mace.

Early Life and Family

Mary Pembroke was born on the 25th of January 2003 to Randolf Pembroke and his wife Bella. The family lived in Rachdale, a town in the Earldom of Brumley, where they owned a butcher's shop. At a young age, Randolf Pembroke had been a groom to the Viscount Rachdale but was soon apprenticed to a butcher with the patronage of the Viscount. He met Bella Fitz-Rorick in 1990 at a Guildhall dinner and the couple were married in July 1992. The lease of a disused butcher's shop was granted to the family by the Viscount Rachdale as a wedding present. Mary Pembroke was the second of six children: an older brother (Matthew, born 1998), two younger sisters (Bella, born 2005, and Rachel, born 2008), and two younger brothers (Robert and Randolf, twins born 2007).
