The 2022 Invasion of Azil refers to an armed conflict that occurred between the Kingdom of Azil and the Somodi-Timeria Coalition. Spanning from April 25th, 2022, to November 11th, 2022, the invasion aimed to overthrow the autocratic ruler, King Salar Curcian, and diminish the global influence of the notorious organization known as SHADOW. Azil, a nation plagued by oppression under King Salar's regime, had established connections with various terrorist organizations, including SHADOW.

    Prelude

    Somodi-Timerian Task Force

Responding to the plight of the Azilian population and determined to curtail SHADOW's reach, the Somodi-Timeria Coalition began amassing forces in early April. Both the Timerian and Somodi militaries possessed superior numbers and advanced weaponry compared to Azil.

    Invasion

    Invasion and Capture of Tomarka

On April 25th, the combined forces of Somodi and Timeria initiated landing and airborne operations from Somyost Island with the primary objective of capturing Azil's capital city, Tomarka. With the Timerian air force establishing dominance in the skies, the invaders launched a coordinated assault on multiple fronts. Overwhelming Azil's defenses, the Somodi-Timeria Coalition swiftly advanced, encountering minimal resistance from the beleaguered Azilian military.
