Biography
Early Life
Princess Margret Anna Maria Sproek-Kristhulm was born on April 19th, 1992, at Storkenegyn Anna Memorial Hospital in the South Ottonian capital of San Mikel to then-Crown Prince Rodrik and his wife, Ava Faramund, the couple's second child. She was baptised on May 23rd, 1992, at the Cathedral of St. Mikel in San Mikel, with her aunt and uncle, Vikturya and Godwyn as her godparents.
From an early age, Margret was close with her elder brother, Vitus, who apparently advocated for her before she could speak. In addition, their grandmother, Adelhaed, doted on the two. Reportedly Margret and Adelhaed were especially close, and reportedly the influence of grandmother, mother, and Margret's maternal aunt Sigurny Faramund all contributed to a quiet confidence in the young princess. When her tutelage began a few years later, Margret, now mostly going by "Maggie" or "Gretchen" (the latter a favorite of her brother) proved to be an enthusiastic and diligent student.
Teenage Years
In 2005, at the age of 13, Margret was enrolled at Vylfhuld Academy, in Vylfhuld, Staalmark. She excelled as a student there, as well as taking part in varsity association football and a number of other student organizations.
Adulthood
Following her graduation from Vylfhuld Academy, Margret was accepted into the prestigious Sante Elisabeth Women's College, pursuing a double major in public administration and sociology. Margret has spent most of her 20's pursuing additional education as well as charitable work. It was during a fundraiser for the Ottonian branch of Crumbs to Crumpets that she met Soren Graehulm, a college professor and a scion of the House of Graehulm in 2018. The two reportedly began dating shortly afterward, and wedded in 2019. They welcomed their first child, Erik, in 2021.
Personal Life
Princess Margret has expended considerable effort to conceal her private life from the media and public sources. What is known is that she remains close with her brother, and to a lesser extent with her younger sisters. In addition, she is known to have close friendships with a number of her peers, including her paternal first cousins Margus, Rodrik, and Madalyn, as well as her maternal first cousins Jenna Faramund and Lyna Godwyn, and more distantly-tied Rosalyn of Staalmark and Claudia Romm. Privately, she is known to use the nickname "Maggie" among close friends and extended family, and her immediate family is known to call her "Gretchen."
While Margret and her elder brother have a close relationship, it is widely believed that Margret does not get along very well with her sister-in-law, Arietta of Ghant.
While less of sports fan than her siblings, Margret has shown a liking for Capital City Athletic Club's association football and ice hockey sides.
Princess Margret is a practicing member of the Honorian Church, like most other Ottonian aristocrats.
