The Republic of Laurichesse is an archipeligic nation in the Northern Cantalle Islands, located in the northeast Cantalle Ocean and sharing maritime borders with Lillestola, Isla Ima, and Janapa. Its eastern coasts lay along the Ossinia Sea. It is made up of 78 islands, with most being small and largely uninhabited rocky points. Its 5 largest and mainly populated islands, from north to south, are Bethell, Fern, Eta, Asuch, and Perot. The capital and largest city is Coquelet, located on the island of Bethell. Laurichesse has a sub-tropical climate, with mild winters and warm summers. Laurichesse's location along the Hurricane Corridor makes it prone to severe weather, and its position at the center of the belt increases the direction and severity of approaching storms; however, it receives some protection from its coral reefs.
