The National Defence Group (Chinese: 国防集团, pinyin: Guófáng Jítuán, National Defence Group) is a group of companies in the Amenrian defence industry with the status of Honorary Noble Family, giving it the rights and obligations of a Noble Family. These rights include, but are not limited to, the right to own territory and tax those within said territory, and the right to issue arms to its members and enforce laws in its borders.
Overview
East Asia has been a centre of technological progress for decades, even before the foundation of the empire, and the companies who now form the Group were at the forefront of this endeavour, with many of their discoveries, including, but not limited to, the hover drive, power armour, and being used in militaries before they entered the civilian market.
