Alameda
Alameda, formally the Republic of Alameda (Alamedan is a sovereign nation located in Norumbia. It borders the countries of Rökkurlynd and Awasin to the north, Mniohuta to the west and Gristol-Serkonos to the south. Its eastern coastline leads to the North Thalassan Sea. The capital of Alameda is Salvación and the largest city is Tallapoosa-Montepaz. Alameda has been historically defined into two Grand Divisions, West Alameda and East Alameda. These two areas are politically, culturally, economically and linguistically distinct. The population of Alameda is approximately 19.7 million people, with around 72% of which live in East Alameda. Alameda is a multi-cultural country, and has four constitutionally recongized constituent groups: Alamedines, Chuscos, Muskogee and Anigiduwagi.
Alameda has been inhabited since the last ice age, with evidence of inhabitation dating back to 10,000 B.C.E. Chenes is considered to be the homeland of two indigeneous Norumbrian groups: the Serkonian Anigiduwagi and the Muskogean Muscogee. These groups have settled throughout Alameda utilizing smaller tribal systems which eventually developed into two large, influential greater tribes and various lesser tribes. The two greater tribes of Alameda were the Muscogee Tallapoosa and the Anigiduwagi Qanasi, both of whom fought over political control over these lesser tribes.
