Tong Huang (2972-present) is the 49th Director of Zonha. With the help of the Jintong Group, he violently overthrew the former government of Zonha and either killed or imprisoned every member of the legislature along with the premier and director. This came as a shock to the country as Huang was a minor politician and did not exhibit much opposition to the national government. After the 2998 election, resentment for the new director Lao grew rapidly in the rural regions of the country after he implemented various policies that arguably harmed populations living in rural regions. Huang quickly grew in popularity, beginning in Jintong and expanding all the way from Panwei to Guangmay and even had significant support in Sumen. Protests began in June 2999 with only a few hundred in Jintong and rapidly grew to over three million by September 2999. The protests of 28 October 2999 grew violent within a few hours across the country and the Jintong paramilitary led by Huang invaded the capital, overpowering the police and military stationed at the Capitol and Director’s Palace. After the coup, Huang made a public announcement through radio, television, and speaker establishing himself as the new director and assumed full control of the Zonhan government. He swiftly enacted martial law and restricted any rights for the population.

Little is known of Huang’s private life, however it is known he was married to Ho Mei in 2994. Huang also briefly held a job with the Zonhan Intelligence Department before running for Jintong Provincial Director.
