Hishan Air Lines is an airline company that provides passenger and cargo services to various destinations around the world. It is headquartered in St. Cloud, State of Central America, ViZion, and has a history of over 90 years of excellence in customer service, lounge and flight experiences, and innovation. It operates a fleet of over 200 aircraft, serving hundreds of destinations across the globe. It is also a part of the Global Air Alliance, a network of 5 airlines that offer seamless travel options to their customers.

While there are many competitors, its most direct competitor in ViZion is West-East Airways, which it is locked into competition with for the third largest airline.

History

Hishan Air Lines was founded in 1933 by the Hishan family in St. Cloud, CA, ViZion, with a vision to provide the best air travel service in the region. The airline started with a fleet of four propeller planes and a handful of domestic routes. Over the years, Hishan Air Lines grew steadily and expanded its network, reaching new heights of success and recognition.

In 1949, Hishan Air Lines made history by launching its first international destination and flight from St. Cloud, ViZion to Shelbin, Jarridia. This marked the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship between the two countries, as Hishan Air Lines became one of the top two ViZionarian airlines for travel to Jarridia. The airline also established a reputation for excellence in customer service, lounge and flight experiences, and innovation.

In 1956, Hishan Air Lines launched its loyalty program, originally called Hishan Miles, to reward its frequent flyers with benefits and perks. The loyalty program was one of the first of its kind in the industry, and attracted many loyal customers to Hishan Air Lines. In 1999, the loyalty program was completely reorganized and renamed as Elite Loyalty Program, offering four tiers of elite status: Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Platinum Elite.

In 1959, Hishan Air Lines acquired a small regional player out of ViZion’s state of Astyria, called AstFly. The acquisition allowed Hishan Air Lines to integrate AstFly’s operations and assets into its own, and to grow its presence and influence in Astyria. Hishan Air Lines also introduced new routes and services to cater to the diverse needs and preferences of its customers in Astyria.

In 1965, Hishan Air Lines launched its first club lounge, Hishan Club Lounge, at North Amazon International Airport. The club lounge was designed to provide comfort and convenience to its customers before and after their flights. The club lounge featured amenities such as free Wi-Fi, snacks and beverages, newspapers and magazines, showers and restrooms, and more. The club lounge was also among the first ever for an airline.

In 1975, Hishan Air Lines launched its first premium lounge, Exclusive Club by Hishan, at North Amazon International Airport. The premium lounge was an exclusive and luxurious space for its elite customers and business class passengers. The premium lounge offered services such as personal concierge, spa treatments, gourmet meals, private meeting rooms, and more. The premium lounge was also among the first ever for an airline.

In 1977, Hishan Air Lines bought out another regional carrier, TriHopper, and renamed it Hishan Hop. Hishan Hop became the regional airline for Hishan Air Lines, meant for short flights using smaller regional planes. Hishan Hop offered convenience, flexibility, and affordability to its customers, while maintaining the high standards of quality and safety that Hishan Air Lines was known for.

In 2020, Hishan Air Lines made a bold move by buying Yorkshire Airlines of Great Britain and Irelandia, a growing international airline. The acquisition enabled Hishan Air Lines to expand globally outside of the region of Astyria, and to tap into new markets and opportunities. Yorkshire Airlines became a subsidiary airline of Hishan Air Lines, sharing a single loyalty program (Elite Loyalty Program), elite statuses (Silver, Gold, Platinum, Platinum Elite), and club lounges.

Today, Hishan Air Lines is one of the most respected and successful airlines in the world, with a fleet of over 200 aircrafts and a network of hundreds of destinations globally. Subsidiaries

Hishan Air Lines has two subsidiaries that complement and enhance its services and network: Hishan Hop and Yorkshire Airlines.

Hishan Hop

Hishan Hop is Hishan Air Lines’ regional airline, meant for short distance flights in smaller regional turboprop and jet planes. Hishan Hop offers convenience, flexibility, and affordability to its customers who need to travel within ViZion and its neighboring countries. Hishan Hop operates from several hubs across the region, such as St. Cloud, Kirkland, Shelbin, and more. It is the 3rd largest regional airline in ViZion, behind Air Waves by ViZionair and Blue Airways.

Yorkshire Airlines

Yorkshire Airlines is Hishan Air Lines’ international subsidiary, the flag carrier airline of Great Britain and Irelandia and a growing global one. Yorkshire Airlines has a rich history and tradition of providing excellent air travel service to Europe and beyond. Yorkshire Airlines has a fleet of over 100 aircrafts and a large network of destinations globally. Yorkshire Airlines customers can also enjoy the same benefits and perks as Hishan Air Lines customers, such as access to the Elite Loyalty Program, club lounges, and online check-in.

Elite Loyalty Program

The program has four levels: Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Platinum Elite. Each level offers different perks and benefits that enhance your travel experience. Here is a summary of the benefits for each level:

Silver

This is the standard level for all members who join the program. You get access to basic benefits such as online check-in, seat selection, and baggage allowance. You also get access to special offers and promotions.

Gold

This is the first elite level in the program. You need to earn 25,000 elite points in a calendar year to qualify for this level. You get access to all the benefits of Silver, plus:

  • Priority check-in, boarding, and baggage handling
  • Seat upgrade at boarding (subject to availability)
  • Discounted lounge membership with $100 off
  • One free checked bag (up to 23 kg)
  • 2 bonus points per dollar spent

Platinum

This is the second elite level in the program. You need to earn 50,000 elite points in a calendar year to qualify for this level. You get access to all the benefits of Gold, plus:

  • Free access to our lounge for you and a guest
  • Two free checked bags (up to 32 kg each)
  • Free seat upgrade at check-in (subject to availability)
  • Priority waitlist and standby
  • Discounted lounge membership with $250 off
  • 5 bonus points per dollar spent

Platinum Elite

This is the highest elite level in the program. You need to earn 100,000 elite points in a calendar year to qualify for this level. You get access to all the benefits of Platinum, plus:

  • Free access to our lounge for you and two guests
  • Three free checked bags (up to 32 kg each)
  • Free seat upgrade 72 hours before departure (subject to availability)
  • Free change or cancellation of flights (subject to fare rules)
  • 10 bonus points per dollar spent

Global Elite

The Ultimate Level of Loyalty Global Elite is the most exclusive and prestigious level in the Elite Loyalty Program. This level is not advertised or published, and is only available by invitation from the CEO of Hishan Air Lines. You need to spend an undisclosed amount of money on Hishan Air Lines flights in a calendar year, and meet other undisclosed criteria, to qualify for this level. You get access to all the benefits of Platinum Elite, plus:

  • Free access to our lounge for you and three guests: You can enjoy the comfort and luxury of our lounge for you and three guests, regardless of your class of travel or destination. You can also invite additional guests for a nominal fee.
  • Four free checked bags (up to 32 kg each): You can check four bags for free on any Hishan Air Lines flight, up to 32 kg each. You can also check additional bags for a discounted fee.
  • Free seat upgrade at booking (subject to availability): You can book any seat you want on any Hishan Air Lines flight, regardless of your class of travel or fare type, as long as there is availability. You can also change your seat at any time before departure for free.
  • Free change or cancellation of flights (no restrictions): You can change or cancel your flights for free at any time, with no restrictions or penalties. You can also get a full refund or a credit voucher for future use.
  • 20 bonus points per dollar spent: You can earn 20 bonus points for every dollar you spend on Hishan Air Lines flights, in addition to the base points you earn. You can use these points to redeem rewards such as free flights, upgrades, lounge access, and more.
  • Personal concierge service: You can enjoy a personal concierge service that will take care of all your travel needs and requests. You can contact your concierge via phone, email, or chat at any time, and they will assist you with booking flights, hotels, car rentals, restaurants, activities, and more. They will also provide you with personalized recommendations and tips based on your preferences and interests.
  • Access to exclusive events and experiences: You can get access to exclusive events and experiences that are only available to Global Elite members. Lifetime Elite Loyalty Program Members

Lifetime ELP members are members who have flown a certain number of miles with Hishan Air Lines in their lifetime. These are not points, but actual miles flown on Hishan Air Lines flights or partner flights credited to the Elite Loyalty Program. Lifetime ELP members get access to special benefits that last for their entire lifetime, regardless of their annual elite status. Here are the benefits for each lifetime ELP milestone:

1 million miles

Lifetime Silver status. You get access to all the benefits of Silver level for your entire lifetime, even if you don’t earn enough elite points in a calendar year. 4 million miles

Lifetime Platinum Elite status. You get access to all the benefits of Platinum Elite level for your entire lifetime, even if you don’t earn enough elite points in a calendar year. Global Air Alliance was formed by Hishan Air Lines and Aspen Airline of 7 Trees in 2021 as both airlines struggled, along with the wider travel industry, due to the pandemic. Global Air Alliance allows their loyalty members to earn and redeem on Global Air Alliance airlines, and access elite-status benefits as Global Air Alliance has adopted the Hishan Elite Loyalty program and points system, allowing for easy and straight forward elite benefits across the member airlines.

Global Air Alliance consists of 5 airlines that span across all continents, offering a wide range of destinations and services to their customers. Global Air Alliance members can also enjoy access to hundreds of club lounges worldwide, priority boarding and check-in, baggage allowance enhancements, and more.
